AEO is question-led. It starts from the exact questions buyers ask, then formats the answer for machine extraction, leading with a direct response in the first sentence, then supporting detail, clean headings, and structured data that removes ambiguity. The page earns the answer by being the clearest, best-evidenced source for that question.
AEO and GEO overlap but are not the same. AEO wins the extracted answer on a search surface; GEO wins the brand a named, cited place inside a generated response across conversational assistants. Most programs need both, on top of solid SEO.
