This policy explains what personal data Search Agency collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to this website, to inquiries you send us, and to our browser extensions: Agent View (section 12) and Answer Ready (section 13).

1. Who we are

This website is operated by PT Optimasi Mesin Pencari (“Search Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in Indonesia. We are the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run this website:

Information you give us. When you submit a contact form, request an AI-search audit, apply for a role, or otherwise email us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, company, website or domain, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs through cookies and analytics tools.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
prepare proposals, audits, and points of view on your search opportunity;
operate, maintain, secure, and improve this website;
understand how the site is used through aggregated analytics; and
send you updates or marketing communications where you have asked to receive them or where we are otherwise permitted to do so. You can opt out at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (which you give by submitting a form or contacting us), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, balanced against your rights.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to measure traffic. This includes analytics services such as Google Analytics, which set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy terms. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; some features of the site may not function correctly if you do.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business and this website. Those are cloud hosting and database providers (Google Cloud / Firebase), analytics providers, and email tools, and they receive only what they need to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

7. International transfers

Our hosting and analytics providers may process data on servers located outside Indonesia. Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.

8. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Inquiry and lead details are kept while there is an active or prospective relationship and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted or anonymized.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep our safeguards current. To report a security concern, see our security contact.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or update it, to request its deletion, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

11. Children

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.

12. Agent View browser extension

This section covers the Agent View browser extension, and it is the only section that applies to it. Sections 2 to 9 above describe this website. The extension is a different piece of software with different behavior: it has no server, no account system, and no analytics, and it does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.

What it accesses. Agent View acts on a page only when you click its icon on that page. It then reads the content and address (URL) of the active tab, re-fetches that same page’s raw HTML directly from the website, reads the website’s robots.txt and llms.txt, and, for the crawler comparison, fetches the page again using different crawler user-agent strings. All of it is read and analyzed locally in your browser. None of it is sent to Search Agency or to any other party by the extension.

What it stores. The most recent analysis is saved on your own device in the browser’s local storage, only so the popup can hand the result to the full report tab. It stays on your device, it is overwritten by the next run, and it is never transmitted anywhere.

The one time information leaves your browser. Agent View shows a “Get your free AI Search Visibility Audit” button that links to this website. If, and only if, you click it, your browser opens that page and the link carries three pieces of context so the audit can be relevant: the address of the page you were checking, the industry you optionally selected, and a source tag identifying the extension. This is an ordinary link you choose to follow, not a background transmission. Once you are on this website, the rest of this policy applies.

Permissions and why they are used.

activeTab and scripting: to read the page you are on, only after you click the icon.
storage: to pass one analysis result from the popup to the report tab, on your device.
declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess: to set the crawler user-agent on the extension’s own fetches during a crawler comparison. It is used only while a comparison or “as bot” run is active.
Optional site access: requested only when you first use the crawler emulator, and only for the site you are checking. It is what allows the emulated fetch.

Agent View contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no external tracking code, and it shares no data with any third party. If these practices change, this section will be updated before the new behavior ships.

13. Answer Ready browser extension

This section covers the Answer Ready browser extension, and it is the only section that applies to it. Sections 2 to 9 above describe this website. The extension is a different piece of software with different behavior: it has no server, no account system, and no analytics, and it does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.

What it accesses. Answer Ready acts on a page only when you click its icon on that page. It then reads the content and address (URL) of the active tab and analyzes how that page is structured. Unlike Agent View, it makes no network requests at all. It does not re-fetch the page and it contacts no server, ours or anyone else’s. Everything is read and analyzed locally in your browser.
