Search Agency started in 2019 as a specialist search team. When the buying decision began moving inside AI answers, we reorganized around it, because the brands we serve cannot afford to be absent from the response.

Our story

Why we reorganized around AI search.

Search Agency was founded on 1 August 2019 by Ridho Putradi S'Gara, who previously founded and led Indonesia's first inbound marketing agency, InboundID. Since 2009, Ridho and his teams have built search performance for leaders across automotive, FMCG, and consumer brands, including Yamaha, Unilever, and Danone.

For years the work was SEO, and the discipline was rigorous: technical health, topic authority, and content that compounds. Then the front door of search changed. Customers stopped scanning ten blue links and started reading a single answer from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI overviews. The decision was now forming before the click, on a surface most agencies could not even see.

So we rebuilt around it. The same engine that doubled organic traffic and added millions of users now drives a different outcome: being the brand AI cites and recommends. We proved it works by growing a global hospitality brand's AI audience 450 percent in a single quarter, from Jakarta. Talent and method travel. The results are the only thing that should.
